You already know the food if you've ever eaten at Original Pizza. This is an offshoot of OP and the food is just as good but with better service. Happy to have this option available over on the East side!!

Fantastic and delicious New York-style pizza at a great price point. We just moved to South Kansas City and are thrilled to have such a great pizza joint in the neighborhood. Hot, fresh, and quick!

Bronx born and raised, this place reminds me of home! Don't waste you time going to New York for Pizza, try this first. Just ask this guy, he loves it!

Just had the best slice of New York style pizza I have ever had. They are consistently good but, today it hit a little different. Don’t pass this place up! And the owners are awesome!

Way expensive and when I asked why so much the guy got loud and hateful saying that's always been the price. When I showed him that I wanted the sandwich he realized he charged me for the dinner. I was not impressed.

Love the food here. Pizza rolls are amazing and the singles are always perfect .

I work late and use DoorDash to order my food. Pull up at the drive Thru, get my food right away, and it’s always fantastic

The owners are wonderful people and the pizza is great!! I've been coming back here for years. The place used to be a Wendy's and you can definitely tell, but they make the most of it with plenty of seating and things seem generally clean, even if the place isn't a beautiful palace. If you want a humble, local family owned pizza joint (with other Italian food as well, I love the sandwiches too) with nice people and good food, this is a great place to find it.My only real complaint is the horrific parking lot. The back is in terrible disrepair with piles of rock to drive around and gnarly potholes, and the normal and usable parking spaces in front have multiple sets of painted lines which are all very faded.

This is my first choice for neighborhood pizza. The owners are friendly and consistent and t he pizza is great NY style. If you're too far from Waldo Pizza then this is the best pizza in South KC!Be warned, their large is what other places consider extra large!The drive through pickup is super convenient and unique among pizza places in town that I know!

Okay, so I discovered this wonderful place about a week and a half ago, and have now ordered 3 times 😁. Their pizzas are FANTASTIC! In my opinion, the best in Kansas City. Highly recommend!!

Great family-owned-and-run spot for the classics. Pizza was delicious and the only place I’ve been in KC with truly NY-style crust. Pizza wrap and Italian sandwich were also the bomb.

This place specializes in authentic NY style pizza...and is therefore my favorite pizza in KC.

Never pass up there 2 slice lunch deal if your hungry and in a hurry. Quick and amazing pizza. I have never had bad food here. Always top notch. . There larger dinners are authentic Italian food. Oh,they got a drive through window. Great family owned local place.

I just moved to the area and had a craving for pizza. I gave Mamma Leone's Pizza a try. It is excellent NY Style pizza! The crust is perfect, slices are huge and the price is Awesome! I would highly recommend Mamma Leone's Pizza. It's the best pizza I've tried in the KC metro area.

We drive all the way from Raymore to eat here. Very good service and the pizza is awesome! Love the by the slice deals. 2 slices and a drink for $7.50 can beat it.

I've never had worse pizza. Got home and had to throw it away. It was old stale pizza with a few raw vegetables thrown on top. If I wasn't so tired, I would have went back and demanded my money back. Save yourself the waste of time and money.

Mama Leone's is THE BEST pizza around! After they were recommended by a co-worker I thought I'd give them a shot and they blew me away with their fresh ingredients turned into amazingly delicious, hot and fresh pizza. I love and highly recommend the meat lovers and the combo. The restaurant is laid back and relaxed with a friendly hangout vibe. The staff appears to be a family that really do care about their customers. They're attentive, polite, friendly and fun! I now have made this my go to pizza place whenever I'm craving a delicious slice. After meeting Frank, my perception of the restaurant has only gotten better. He's a great guy with a passion for what he does and making everyone happy. I just can't rave enough about how awesome this place is. Try it, you won't regret it!! Five stars all day!!!

I told my friends about this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I visit this place often. This recommendation is always successful. The the food there is appetizing and the crew is generous and cooperative. Every time we visit this place we enjoy a lovely time. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

I'm here a few times a month for lunch and the place is great. I love the conversations with Frank and the pizza is delicious. Stop going to fast foods joints or pizza chains and go to a place that is both local and delicious.

Tried mammas for lunch today. Pulled right up to the drive thru window. The guy working was personable and asked us how our day was. Took our order got to work. I was expecting like a 5 or so minute wait because I got 2 slices and my buddy got two slices. But they came out pipping hot right after he gave us drinks. Still hot by the time I got back to work. Good size and good price. He also gave me a big ole water which helped on this hot af day. I will definitely have this place in the lunch rotation. Thanks mamma I'm never going to Pappa again even if they gotta 50% regular menu price jazz always filling up my email. And everyone knows that 50% reg menu from papa stuff is a scam anyway you woke me mamma.

Best pizza around! I lived in NJ, my pizza standards are high.

My absolute favorite place to go for a salad and a slice or for any of their other items on the menu. I've never had anything bad. Their salads are just wonderful I can't make them taste like that at home. The pizza has excellent crust and generous amount of toppings compared to most places. They put a lot of work into their food. The employees are genuine and polite and the owner gets to know you as an individual and remembers your name. It really gives you that good neighborhood Pizzeria feeling. The prices are also very very reasonable. I will admit that the building is little old and the bathroom facilities are a little outdated looking as with some of the other things in the building and it may appear a little dirty, but if the facility itself is not the greatest it is probably because they put so much effort into the kitchen and making sure that the food is excellent and the service is wonderful.

Went to this pizza location was Greeting was Major . Sat down with family and had on Marine Hoodie was eating our pizza pie . When owner said on us we take care of our Vets. I was honored never using this services was very happy then we order second pizza was Great . And owner tried not to take money paid anyway . Great NYC style Pizza..

I love Mamma Leone's. Pizza is tremendous always fresh. If they don't have what you want they will make it for you. So much better than the commercial chain joints. Well worth it.

I guess this is a one trick wonder! This was my second visit today and I will not be returning, I spent $27 which was a total waste of my money. Both pasta dishes were terrible, like a child made them, no type of seasonings, just bland! The side salad was ok, heck you can't mess up a salad can you? Summary, don't waste your money like I did!

Great lunch deal, any two slices and a drink for $7.50. alternatively you can trade a slice for a side salad. Love coming here for a quick bite. They have really good New York style pizza and the games always on for you to watch while your eating. The atmosphere is very casual and you just run up to the counter to pick out your slice, pay then fill up your drink at the soda dispenser. One of my favorite pizza places close to work. For the price it's worth a try to someone who's never been here.

Their website is not up to date. Website has a large for 14 bucks. A large is 19. When asked. Oh maybe yelp has it wrong. No. This ur website. Totally false advertising. Very good pizza. But come on. Ur own website can't stag up to take with a 25% price increase.

This is a great quick location to pick up some decent Italian food at a cheap price. The food is counter served and has ample table seating. If you want a quick slice a pizza they have some prepared and will finish in the oven for you.. Very Good Pizza. I have also have had and recommend there spaghetti and meatballs and their lasagna. They have has a fast food joint feel, but have sit down food quality.
